Patricia "Pat" Dahlgren

Patricia “Pat” Dahlgren - dedicated wife, mother of two, and friend of many - passed away on October 25, 2022 at the age of 74 in Duluth, MN.

Pat was born and raised in Duluth. She attended Duluth East High School, graduating in 1966.  She was a dedicated legal secretary, working in the same law office for over 40 years and was very proud of her work. She married David Dahlgren in 1971, they were married for many years until David’s death in 2019.

Pat enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing card games and board games, and shopping for antiques. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for many years and could be found singing in the choir most Sundays along with her mother Betty. Health and wellness was important to her, and she enjoyed going for long walks. She loved visiting her grandchildren in Texas. Pat was authentically and wholeheartedly there for those in her life and everyone loved her.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Betty and Sig; as well as her sister, Diane. She is survived by her children, Kari (Jeff) Bonafilia and Erik (Jennifer) Dahlgren; grandchildren, Gabriel and Madelyn Dahlgren; siblings, Carol (Steve) Kunze, Julie (Jim) Taylor and Steve (Mary) Engel; sister-in-law, Claudette Dahlgren; aunt, Donna Koglin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church (1108 E. 8th St. Duluth MN) on Thursday, Nov. 10th at 10:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Burial at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Memorials can be given to Trinity Lutheran Church in Pat’s memory.
