Patricia Twining

Patricia Jean Twining, 84, of Duluth, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 5, 2018.  She was born September 10, 1933 in Duluth to Tony and Antonia (Dandrea) Jannetta.  Pat’s love of dancing led her to open a dance studio in Virginia, Minn. where she met her late husband Kenneth B. Twining, Sr.  They married on June 28, 1958 and made their home in Duluth.  Pat worked numerous jobs in hospitality and several years as an executive housekeeper.  She enjoyed spending her time shopping (she loved SHOES!), bowling, reading cookbooks, and especially spending time with her family.  Pat was a member of the former St. Peters Catholic Church, and currently attended St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.  She was a member of the Italian American Club and Moose Lodge 505.  Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Caroline Janetta and Irene Gingerelli; her brother Ernest Janetta; and her husband Kenneth B. Twining on March 21, 1992.

She is survived by her daughter Debra (Steve) Twining of Superior, WI; her son Ken of Two harbors; her grandchildren:  Heather (Chad) Warburton of Maple, WI, Sara (CJ) Whereatt of Superior, and Peyton and Braxton Twining of Two Harbors; her great-grandchildren:  Bailee, Maverick, Ava and Theya, Brekyn and Charlie; and several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION:  3-5 PM Sunday, March 11, 2018 with wake prayers at 4:30 PM at Dougherty Funeral Home.  Visitation continues Monday, March 12th from 9 AM until the 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 325 E. 3rd.
