Pauline Caudill, 94, of Superior, WI died peacefully Saturday, May 22, 2021. She was born April 17, 1927 in Pilot, KY to Arthur Earl and Elsie Mae (Boyd) Wireman. She spent most of her life in Dayton, OH and moved to Superior 10 years ago to be closer to family.
Pauline was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was admired for still living independently, driving, cooking delicious meals, and planting her prized vegetable garden right up until the day she passed. She was a true Kentucky girl at heart and passed on her many cherished traditions for her family to carry on. She brought so much joy to everyone she encountered. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Juanita Babcock, Beatrice Hood, and Geraldine Morton; husbands: Olie T. Jones, Jeremy J. Garner, and Ervine C. Caudill.
Pauline is survived by daughter Phyllis (Denis) Leschishin of Duluth; four grandchildren: Amber (Jeff) Vreeman of Brooklyn Park, MN, Ryan (Kalysta) Leschishin of Duluth, Paul (Tiffany) Leschishin of New Brighten, MN, and Ana Leschishin (fiance Ben Braiedy) of Boise, ID; eight great-grandchildren; her sister Irene Crowder of Ripley, OH; and her brother Gerald Wireman of Beattyville, KY.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 10 – 11am, followed at 11am with the funeral service at Dougherty Funeral Home. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to a local food shelf of the donor’s choice, in Pauline’s name, would be appreciated. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E.
