Phillip Kindgren

Phillip Carl Kindgren, 69, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 of natural causes, he was born to Carl and Shirley on June 19, 1945, in Duluth.
Phillip loved to cook, and garden, during his youth he was a cook at King Leo's, later he was the owner of Flip's Bar (American Legion) in Proctor. Phillip was an avid fisherman, and once held a state record; and he sailed the Great Lakes for years before he retired from DM&IR as a Conductor
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Phillip is survived by loving wife, Melissa; children, Christopher (Irene) Kindgren, Eric (Melissa) Kindgren, Debbie (Tim) Hickey, Mary Kindgren, Becky Lundberg; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Keith Kindgren; sister, Deborah Asch; 4 nieces; and numerous other family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be 11am Saturday in the Dougherty Funeral Home.
