Raymond Meyer

Raymond Charles Meyer 83, of Duluth, died peacefully on August 21, 2014, in the Benedictine Health Center. Ray was born on January 20, 1931, in Green Isle, MN, to Oliver and Vera Meyer.
Ray grew up in Green Isle MN, he went to Mora High School, then went to work in carpentry, he was a construction analyst for over 20 years for HUD (Housing Urban Development) of the United States Federal Government retiring at the age of 60. Ray enjoyed carpentry, woodworking, fishing, playing cards, and especially spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dale, Don; sister, Dorothy.
Ray is survived by, his loving wife, Helen; son, Ollie (Mary) Meyer; granddaughter, Jenna; sisters, Shirley, Kay, Mary; numerous, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27, 2014, 1PM till the start of the Mass of Christion Burial beginning 2PM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel, 1001 Kenwood Avenue, Duluth, MN, 55811.
