Renee Doble

Renee (Stein) Doble, 91, went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2017. Renee was born on December 8, 1925 in Gary, New Duluth on 105th Avenue West to Ben and Dorothy Stein. Renee worked at Nopeming Nursing Home for 17 years. She was president of the Gary, New Duluth, Fon du Lac Senior Club for 14 years. Renee was a member of the Slovenian Women’s Union Branch #33 for 55 years, and a devoted member of St. Elizabeth’s Parish all her life.
Renee is preceded in death by her husband Wesley Doble, daughter Sharon Dillion, brother Norbert Stein and sisters Leona Lonetto and Irene Stein.
Renee is survived by her daughter Donna (Jim) Collard, son Steven (Kathy) Doble, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson, special niece Beverly Roe, special friends Jackie, Ann, and Helen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday December 7, 2017 from 9:30AM until the 11:00AM Mass of Christian Burial with a 9:30AM Rosary Recitation by the Slovenian Women in St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church. 622 99th Ave. West, Duluth, MN 55808.
