Rex Brian Nyman, 62, of Duluth, passed away on Thursday June 8, 2017 in his residence. He was born in Duluth on December 25, 1954 to Fred and Lorraine Nyman Sr... Rex worked at Barko Hydraulics as a welder for many years. He enjoyed watching big boats come into the harbor, hiking, hunting, fishing, agate picking, riding his bicycle, and he loved his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
Rex was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Fred Nyman Jr.
Rex is survived by his children Nina Nyman of Scottsdale, AZ, Christopher Nyman, and Roselle “Rosie” Nyman of Duluth, brothers Dennis (Donna) Nyman, and Mark (Polly Malone) Nyman, sister Melody (Randy Archambeau) Nyman, special friend Claudia Bjork, lifelong friends Joe (Genevieve) Wehmanen, special neophew James Wiiliainen, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday June 16, 2017 from 2:00PM until the 3:00PM Memorial Service in Dougherty Funeral Home. 600 E. 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805. 218-727-3555. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
