Robert Brooks

Robert "Bob" C Brooks, 82, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Thursday, September 11, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital. Bob was born in Duluth, August 5, 1932 to Elmer and Kathryn Brooks. He married Gwen Bentley and they had three children.
He worked for Zins Master Baking Co., Kelly Howe Thompson, and owned The Hub Bar, China Night, Stott Briquette, and Lakehead Painting and Sign Co. He helped in development of Skyline Little League and coached youth hockey in the Piedmont Heights area.
He loved fishing, hunting, his winters in Texas, and his Antique Cars.
He was preceded in death by his son Bruce (2000).
Bob is survived by his wife, Gwen; son, Robert (Mary); daughter, Sheryl (Mark) Vieau; sister, Mary Lee Settambrino; brother-in-law, Robert Bentley; numerous, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He will be loved and missed by family and friends
Visitation will be 10:30AM, Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in the Christ Lutheran Church, 2415 Ensign St, Duluth, MN 55811, until the start of the service beginning at Noon.
