Robert L. McDonald, 74, of Duluth, died unexpectedly on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at home. He was born in Superior, WI. on February 22, 1943 to Terry and Cecilia McDonald. Bob married Donna Lee Hood in 1965 in Duluth. He has worked in the automotive industry since 1969, starting at Duluth Motors. He currently was the sales manager at Krenzen Indoor Auto Mall. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Debbie. Bob is survived by his wife of 51 years, Donna; his sons Kevin of Duluth and Keith (Ann) of Minneapolis; his granddaughter Cari (Kyle) Rizzi and their children Lila, Henry and Rosalie of Hermantown; four brothers; one sister; a special aunt Grace Jensen of Duluth and his cousin Carol Bjorklund of Superior. At Mr. McDonald’s request, no memorial service is planned at this time.
