Roberta Wilmers

Roberta Anne Wilmers, 82, of Duluth, MN passed away unexpectedly, March 15, 2018.

Roberta was born to Gerald and Anne Vallie in Duluth on February 1, 1936.  She graduated from Cathedral HS, Class of ’54.

Roberta enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.  For 25 years she loved singing as a member of her church group, “Praise and Harmony” and was an avid reader.  She and Bob spent their time watching local high school basketball and hockey(her favorite), and playing and watching golf.

She was employed as an office manager for several businesses in Duluth and retired from the dental office of Robert Idziorek, Jr, DDS in 2011.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Danny and Billy; and brother-in-law, Steve Erickson.

Roberta is lovingly remembered by her husband Robert; children, Robert Jr. (Susan Miles), Thomas (Cindy) and Patrick (Penny); grandchildren, Natalie (Tim) Olmstead, Jaclyn, Nikita (Matt) Bergstrom, Hannah, and Serena; siblings, Geraldine (Chuck) Visina, Tom (Libby) Vallie, John (Leslie) Vallie, Larry (Rae) Vallie, Barbara (Curt) Lindbeck, Kathy (Tom) Majchrzak and Patty Erickson; Peggy Campbell (special cousin), Nancy Gersich (close friend) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

On Saturday, March 24, 2018 there will be visitation starting at 10AM followed by a memorial service at 11AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 151 W Linden St, Duluth, MN 55811.
