Robert "Bob" Boisjoli

Robert (Bob) J. Boisjoli, 93, of Duluth, passed away September 27, 2021 at home.  Bob was born March 3, 1928, in Duluth to Archie and Sylvia Boisjoli.

He went to St Michael's School, graduated from Cathedral 1945, and attended UMD.  He served in the Army Air Corp. Bob married Mary Louise Beaudry on October 12, 1951, in Spokane WA. The young family moved back to Duluth in 1958. Bob worked a variety of jobs in Spokane and Duluth, retiring from Helmer Foods/Arco Coffee.

Bob had a passion for golf and enjoyed playing Backgammon, and Cribbage.  Bob and Mary shared a strong faith, praying the Rosary together each night.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Ray.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Mary Louise; children, Bob, Wm Bruce, Michael (Gerry), James (Shauna Fitzloff), Susan (Tom) Sieger, Renee (Mike) Lyttle, and David (Kathy); grandchildren, Anna (Jason) Abbott, Megan (Reed) Cosgrove, Andrew Boisjoli, Jerod (Lisa) Boisjoli, Janel (Andy) Broman, Chris (Chrisie) Boisjoli, Marissa (Jordan) Nordberg, Kyle (Ellie) Boisjoli, Michelle (Chris) Shearer, Carley (Anders) Knutsen, Kendra (Chuck) Goldsworthy, Katie (Gabe Puterbaugh) Sieger, Jacob (Annyetta) Lyttle, Joshua Lyttle, Matthew Lyttle, Katlyn Boisjoli, Jade Boisjoli, and Alexa Boisjoli; great-grandchildren, Grace, Leah, Brody, Emma, Hannah, Addison, Sydney, Jack, Ellis, Aero, Annabelle, Leo, Hailey, Annika, Aksel, Sophie, baby girl due Nov. 29th, Bernadette, and Theodore.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11AM, Monday, October 4, 2021, with visitation one hour prior, in St John’s Catholic Church, 4230 St Johns Ave, Duluth, MN 55803.
