Rozalia Jurasek

Rozalia Jurasek, age 83, of Duluth, died Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Franciscan Health Center. She was born May 27, 1935 in Celinovac, Bosnia to Barbara (Neuburger) Jaros and Mihal Jaros. Rozalia married Frank Jurasek in 1954. Rozalia and her family moved to Duluth from the former Yugoslavia on December 27th, 1966.

Rozalia worked many years in the service industry until her retirement during which she and her husband Frank spent their time taking care of their grandchildren, family, and many friends. Rozalia enjoyed traveling the world. She was an active member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

Rozalia was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, and her husband Frank on December 9, 2015. She is survived by her children: Joseph Jurasek of St. Paul, Karl Jurasek and Kathryn Jurasek, both of Duluth; her granddaughters; Antonia Jukic and Mariya (Andy) Fenske, both of Duluth; her great-granddaughter Bianca Jukic of Duluth; two brothers: Mike (Anette) Jaros and Adam Jaros, both of Duluth, and her sister Monika Jaros of Duluth.

Rozalia's family would like to thank the staff at Franciscan Health Center for the care given to Rozalia.

VISITATION: Monday, September 17, 2018 from 9 AM until the 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
