Ruth Anderson

Ruth Ann Anderson, 80, of Duluth, passed away on Saturday January 20, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital.  She was born May 22, 1937 to Hazel Linneamaki and Oscar Anderson in Duluth, MN.  Ruth was a life time resident of Duluth.

Ruth is preceded in death by her mother and father and siblings, Millie Walcome, Gunnar Anderson, Margerate Vittorio, and her nephew Thomas Vittorio.

Ruth had three daughters, Nancy Halverson (Jeff Halverson) grandson Donny Halverson, granddaughters Natalie Vasil and Hailie Hayes, Sandra Sipes, grandsons, Michael Gjerdahl, Harley Gjerdahl and Jessie Gjerdahl, and Rita Holler Grandsons Dylan Holler, Rodney Scandin, (Chrissy Scandin), Granddaughters, Melissa Henigan (Bryan Henigan), Samantha Scandin. Ruth had 16 Great Grandchildren. Ruth had many nieces and nephews that she loved very much, Ruth Vittorio, Linda Ecklund, Alice Vittorio, Elizabeth Vittorio, Faye Walcome and Danny Walcome.
