Ryan Lee Adolphson, 42, of Duluth, MN, passed away due to organ failure on November 18th, 2024.
Born on January 25th, 1982, in Virginia, MN, son to Les and Rosie Adolphson. He grew up in the Duluth area and went to Marshall and Denfeld High School, later graduating from Lake Superior College with his degree in construction and general contracting.
Ryan and his brother, Pat, owned Adolphson R&P Construction, where they built many custom homes throughout the region. He was extremely proud of his and Pat’s work and their craftsmanship.
One of Ryan’s greatest joys in life was his daughter, Charleigh. He loved watching her new dance moves for many hours a day. Ryan was a good Christian, and made sure Charleigh was baptized and attended Sunday school to develop a relationship with the Lord.
He will be remembered by his family and many friends and as a fun loving, happy person with many stories to share. He enjoyed his time spent at the family cabin on Caribou Lake where he would fish, participate in water sports, and simply gathering with his loved ones. Ryan also loved to race jet skis, in which he never lost a race.
Ryan is preceded in death by his grandparents, and infant brother, Joshua.
He is survived by his parents, Les and Rosie Adolphson; daughter Charleigh, and her mother, Sara; brother, Pat; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, at 11 am at Holy Cross Lutheran Church (410 N Arlington Rd, Duluth, MN 5811) followed by memorial service at 12 noon. A Celebration of Life will held at Skyline Social & Games following the service.
