Scott Anderson

Scott Edward Anderson, 63, of Duluth, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Solvay Hospice House.  He was born in Duluth August 5, 1958 to Hartley Edward and Nancy Ann (Olson) Anderson.  Scott was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his children:  Erin (Chauncey) McGregor and Phillip, both of Duluth, Jennifer Johnson (Mike) of Superior, Kaylen Anderson of Ely, and Seth (Brittany) Anderson  of Minnetonka; six grandchildren:  Makayla, Tyler, Brayden, Eliza, Grayson and Zayn; his siblings:  Kurt (Kris) Anderson of Golden Valley, Brenda (Dan) Peterson and Lisa Anderson, both of Duluth; his long- time loving companion Debra Anderson; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other family.  Scott will be very missed by those who knew him.  Scott’s family extends a special thank you to the staff at Solvay Hospice House for the loving, gentle care they provided in his last days.  In lieu of floral donations or monetary donations, please consider donations to Solvay Hospice House as a gift to others in honor to Scott.  A private family service to follow.  Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home, Duluth, 218-727-3555.
