Scott Hansen

Scott A. Hansen, 51 of Duluth, died unexpectedly Saturday, Nov. 30th at his home.  Scott was born May 19, 1968 in Fridley, MN to Robert and Sharon Hansen.  He was raised in Mankato and was a graduate of Mankato West High School.  He went on to receive a degree from the College of St. Scholastica.

Scott worked as a financial officer at Superior Choice Credit Union and as a bartender and cook at Fosters Bar and Grill.  He enjoyed golfing and scored a hole-in-one at Enger; loved sports; and cherished attending his children and nieces’ sporting and extracurricular events. Wherever he went, he enjoyed having conversations and laughs with everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Hansen-Risse; paternal grandparents, Hans and Tody Hansen and his maternal grandparents, Walter and Dorothy Elmquist.

Scott is survived by his children, Cailyn and Tate Hansen; his father, Robert (Virginia) Hansen; former wife, Tracy Hansen; siblings, Steve (Kelly) Hansen and Brenda (Jerry) Carpenter and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
