Selvina "Sally" Morse

Selvina “Sally” P. Morse, 89 of Duluth, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Marywood with her family by her side.  Sally was born August 21, 1927 in Duluth to Alfred and Kaspara Slotness.  She graduated from Duluth Central High School.

Sally met Keith Morse and they were married in 1947.  She worked as an office manager for the National Electrical Contractors Association and at Electricraft, a company Keith and Sally owned, but she was most proud to be a mother to her two girls.

Sally was a proud member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served on its alter guild and served on the PTA’s of her children’s schools.

She enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii, knitting and making afghan’s.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Kaspara and her husband, Keith in 2000 and brothers Robert and Alfred Jr. Slottness.

Sally will be greatly missed by her daughters, Gayle (Dan) Wallin and Lynn (Dennis) Collmann; her grandchildren, Lisa (Scott) Anderson, Geoffrey Wallin, Heather (Tim) Ruzek and Anna Garrett; great grandchildren, Ina Kay Anderson, Estelle Ruzek and Aubrey Ruzek and her loving sister, Audrey (Cliff) Kolquist and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at Marywood for their loving care of Sally.

Visitation will begin Tuesday at 10am with services at 11am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1108 E 8th St. Duluth.  Burial at Park Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,  memorials are preferred and maybe directed to, Trinity Lutheran Church or the donor’s choice.
