Sharlean Laitinen

Sharlean Josephine Laitinen, the loving mother of three, 37, of St. Cloud, formerly of Duluth, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Sharlean was born Jan. 15, 1975 in Duluth, the daughter of Gary Smith and Kim Laitinen. She grew up in Duluth and graduated from Central High School. Sharlean then graduated from St. Cloud Tech. She worked as an administrative assistant for Stearns County in St. Cloud. She enjoyed watching movies, bike riding, swimming, feeding the ducks on the Mississippi, but most of all, spending time with her children. Sharlean was preceded in death by her father, Gary. She is survived by her life partner and best friend, Daryll Teller of St. Cloud; daughters, Lindsay, Daisy, and Delaney Teller, all of St. Cloud; mother, Kim Smith of St. Cloud; sister, Morning Star Smith and brother Norman Smith, both of Duluth; and step-father, Norman Smith of Clearwater, Minn.
