Sharon Lorriane Mathison

Sharon Lorraine Mathison, age 64 of Duluth, passed away on January 22, 2024. She was born on September 15, 1959, in Sawyer, MN. She married Michael Mathison, and together raised 6 children. Sharon was a spitfire, but don’t let that fool you. Her loving nature translated to every aspect of her life. Whether that was resurrecting dead plants, cooking the worlds best fried bread, or being the best grandmother known to man. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael Mathison; sons, Shane & Chris Mathison; brother Joe; and sisters, Diane & Betty. Sharon is survived by children, Lisa, Lynne, Geri, and Jessica; grandchildren, Miles, Elijah, Parker, Cheyanne, Alexia, Leah, Malik, Kalub, Jamari, Zaire, Adore, and Anastasia; great-grandchild, Kenai; siblings, Brian Blacketter, Bonnie Williams, Karen Reynolds, Lisa Morgan; niece, Sage; and many other extended family and friends.

Funeral Service will be on Friday, January 26 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E Second Street, Duluth, MN 55805.
