Sue Pichetti

Susan Elizabeth Pichetti 72, of Duluth, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in the Hospice Center of St. Luke's Hospital with her family at her side.

She was born on September 23, 1942 to Robert and Alice Henson. She graduated from East High and attended UMD.

Sue married Lou Pichetti in 1963. They resided in Duluth and raised their three sons; Scott, Paul and Tim. Sue loved her family and friends. There were long road trips to Florida, time spent at the cabin, birthday club and shopping. She enjoyed her home where she gardened, decorated, and entertained. Her home was a place where all were welcome... .a place to share a laugh. Sue was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband, Lou (1999).

Sue will be greatly missed by her best friend, Fred Saccoman; and family: Scott (Lisa) Pichetti, Paul (Kim) Pichetti, and Tim (Bronwynn) Pichetti; daughter-in-law, Lisa Pichetti; sister, Lynn Risch; grandchildren, Matt and Katie Pichetti, Molly, Morganne, MacKenzie, Mallory and Mason Pichetti, and Royce and Griffin Pichetti.

The family would like to thank the Hospice Center at St. Luke's and an extra thank you and love to Fred who was always there for her.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the donor's choice.

Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5pm in the Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2nd St. Duluth. Visitation will continue Monday from 10am to the 11am Mass of Christian Burial at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary, 2801 E 4th St. Duluth. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
