Susan Elizabeth Davis

Susan “Suzie" E. Davis, a cherished and loved individual known for her big and often times humorous personality, left us on August 24, 2024 of natural causes. Susie was born on April 6, 1940, to Morris L. Davis (b.5-4-06) and Beatrice Roseman Davis (b.10-27-14). She has a brother, Charles (b. 1945) and a sister, Roberta (b. 1947).

Susie touched the hearts of many, especially her room-mate Joanna, who she shared a lifelong friendship with. She enjoyed her time relaxing in her recliner with a nice comfy blanket. Susie had a deep and profound love for coffee, so much so that she would try and sneak her housemate’s coffee when they were not looking. She was very quick and persistent when she wanted something and although did not communicate verbally, always made sure those around her knew how she was feeling and what she needed. Susie had a strong connection and bond with those that she lived with and would often times show her love and admiration by reaching out to hold hands with those she was having coffee with.

A special thank you to HomeBee Adult Foster Care staff, and caregivers for accepting her as part of your family and providing unwavering support and love. We would also like to thank The Essentia Health Hospice team for the care and support of Susie, 

A simple memorial & luncheon will be held at Dougherty Funeral home on Monday September 16, 2024, at 1pm where friends and caregivers can gather to celebrate her life. 

Susie’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
