Thanh Dinh

Thanh was born in Rac gia, Vietnam, on January 1, 1950, to Tinh and Lam Dinh.

He worked for many years as a chef.

He liked to spend time fishing, gardening, and cooking. Most importantly, he enjoyed being with his grandchildren who always brought him joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents Tinh and Lam Dinh and his sister Dien Dinh.

Thanh is survived by his loving wife, Lua, and children Dung (Nate) Carr, Diem Nguyen, Chi Dinh, Thai (Trang) Dinh, John (Nicky) Dinh; grandchildren, Justine, Carlin, James, Josh, Tram, Tran,Trinh, Isla, Mila, Tyler, Trevor, Keegan, Kyah, Vivian, Tanner; great-grandchildren, Jaden, James Jr; and all his brother and sister and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the medical staff of Essentia Health for their wonderful care and compassion for Thanh.

Visitation will be 3-5PM, Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2nd Street, Duluth MN, visitation will continue Monday, March 15, 2021, from 10AM until the 11AM Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Family Catholic Church 2430 W 3rd St, Duluth MN, Burial in Sunrise Memorial Park.
