Thoris R. McKay, 94, of Duluth, died Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospice. She was born February 10, 1921 to Mary and Charles Johnson in Manitowac, Wisconsin. Thoris was a homemaker and a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard William (2004); her daughter Carol Janssen (1995); and her brother Myron Johnson (2015). Thoris is survived by her son Paul (Kathy) McKay of Duluth; her daughter Donna (Tak) Kojima of Fleming Island, FL; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; her brother Ron (Amy) Johnson of Lynnwood, WA; and her sister-in-law Alma Johnson of St. Paul.
