Todd “Jake” P. Judnick, 57, of Duluth, died Thursday, June 11th in his home, with his family by his side, after a short illness. Jake was born Oct. 8, 1962 in Duluth to Don and Sandy Judnick. He graduated from Duluth East High School, where he played Hockey for East. Jake was an entrepreneur; he enjoyed buying and selling just about everything and taking care of his rentals. He loved spending time on Lake Nebagamon and Island Lake, water skiing, boating; avid player and fan of hockey, he loved watching his son Parker play; loved being outdoors, adding to his collection stored at Ross’s house; but most of all, being with family.
He was preceded in death by his father Don.
Jake is survived by his fiancée, Tracy White; children, Parker Judnick, Molly Leonard and Kenny Quade; mother, Sandy Judnick; siblings, Scott (Colleen) Judnick, Lori (Scott) Bleskan and Ross (Jill) Judnick and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Nikcevich and the health care team at Essentia for their loving care of Jake.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7pm in the Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E 2nd St. Duluth, MN. Visitation will continue Thursday, from 10am to the 11am services at The Vineyard, 1533 W Arrowhead Rd., Duluth, MN. Burial at Forest Hill Cemetery.
