Twyla Paulette Rankin

Twyla Paulette Friday Rankin was born April 23, 1961 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Paul Laurence and Betty Jo Friday. She left for her heavenly home on July 16, 2024 where she succumbed following a brief illness in Duluth, Minnesota. Twyla grew up in Oklahoma where she graduated from Midwest City High School in 1979.

She began her adult life with Tony Ray Austian having two daughters, Melody Dawn Austian and Jeanette Michelle Austian.

Twyla later met and married Charles Rankin who preceded her in death. 

Twyla is survived by her two daughters and 10 grandchildren: The children of Rusty and Michelle Kight: Heaven Leigh Lowman, Braden Russel Kight, Emma Grace Dooley, Jackson Dale Kight. The children of Melodie Austian: Malory Irene Simpson, Bronson Phillip Simpson, Rose Noelle Tschetter, Felicity Kathleen Tschetter, Violet Evangeline Tschetter, and Bryarlynn Baker.

She is survived by one sister, Anita Friday Townsend (Forney, TX) and two brothers, Larry G. Friday and wife Brenda Nissen Friday (Cedar Rapids, IA) and Barry L. Friday and wife Terrie Wren Friday (Yelm, WA).
