Tyler Bryan Walsh, 28, formerly of Duluth, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, as the result of a motorcycle accident in Brainerd, MN. He was born in Duluth, MN on May 7, 1993, to Bryan and Catherine (Barnstorf) Walsh. Tyler attended Duluth East High School and was currently enrolled at Central Lakes College in Brainerd, MN. He had previously worked as a roofer and had recently been employed at GNC Nutrition in Brainerd, MN. Tyler was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Duluth, and he had a very strong faith. He loved the outdoors, kayaking, camping, mountain biking, working on anything with a motor, whether a car, snowmobile, or motorcycle, but more than anything his love for God and family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Fred “Pete” Barnstorf, and his paternal grandparents David and Roberta Walsh.
He is survived by his parents Bryan and Catherine, sister Alison (Joey Comnick) Walsh, grandmother Carol Barnstorf, his puppy Lola, the Woodhull family, Malark family, uncle Pete Barnstorf, his brother from another mother Colin Metry, Todd Bussa, and many more family friends and relatives.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 5 PM to 7 PM with 6:30 PM Wake Prayers at St. John’s Catholic Church. 4230 St. John’s Ave. Duluth, MN 55803, visitation continues Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 10 AM until the 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. John’s Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Dougherty Funeral Home. 600 E. 2nd St., Duluth, MN 55805.
