Wildey Bruce Cameron, age 86, of Duluth, died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Ecumen Scenic Shores in Two Harbors. Bruce was born December 5, 1926 in Superior, WI to Wildey and Freda (Hanson) Cameron. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Bruce married Lois Mae Stromberg. A French River area resident for many years, Bruce was a member of French River Lutheran Church, Two Harbors Moose Lodge 1463 and the American Legion. He loved camping with his wife Lois, and her family. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dan, whose plane was shot down over the Pacific during World War II, and his wife Lois in 2000. Bruce is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law: Esther and Hank Willemarck of Hermantown, and Bert and George Willemarck of Maple Plain, Minn; cousin June, Kay and Cami, in Canada; close friend Cliff Sundstrom of Duluth; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be at 1 PM Saturday, November 23, 2013 at French River Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery, Palmers.
