William Keith “Bill” Teske, 88, of Duluth, died Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital Hospice. He was born March 30, 1928 in Duluth to George Francis and Martha (Rybak) Teske. Bill was a seaman on the Great Lakes prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army during World War ll.
Following his military service, Bill worked as a chef at many well-known Duluth establishments. He retired from Red Owl as it’s meat manager.
Bill loved to cook and felt the more people he could cook for, the better.
He and Adagene enjoyed wintering in Mesa, AZ for 15 years.
He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Linda Ostrander; his brothers John, George, and Bob; and his sister Patricia Mary Strom.
Bill is survived by his wife Adagene; his daughters Tammie Saccoman of CA, Deborah (Ron) Lathrop and Kasey (Roger) Sandberg, both of Duluth; his sons John (Cindy) Teske, Brian (Penny) Linn, Patrick (Michelle) Linn, all of Duluth and Lance (Rhonda) Linn of Ohio; his sisters Barbara Severson of Rockford, Ill and Judy Grimsted of Duluth; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
Bill’s family would like to thank the staffs at Chris Jensen Health & Rehabilitation Center and St Luke’s Hospice for their care of Bill.
