William "Billy" Saker

William “Billy” Robert Saker, 50 of Duluth, died in September in Duluth.

Bill was born November 5, 1966 in Duluth to Laurel and Marie Saker.  He graduated from Duluth East and received degree in Geography from University of Wisconsin, River Falls.

Billy wore many hats; working as a cook, maintenance man, online gamer, ski bum in Vail, worked in operations for Burlington Northern, he lived and studied in Scotland..  He bled Vikings purple, loved all of Minnesota sports teams.  Billy had a kind heart, unique sense of humor and most of all, he was a very proud papa.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Saker.

Billy is survived by his wife, Jennifer; daughters, Alyssa Saker and Kira Ackerman; father, Laurel; sister, Kathleen (William Hutchins) Nyquist and brothers, Joseph (Deb Ogston) and Daniel Saker.
