Willie Moore

Willie Mae (Brooks) Moore, 83, of Duluth, passed away on Wednesday July 3, 2019 at home.  She was born in Montgomery, AL on December 12, 1935 to George and Amanda Brooks.  Willie Mae worked at Essentia Health, St. Mary’s Hospital in Housekeeping from 1971-1992.  She had attended Calvary Baptist Church.

Willie Mae was preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Moore Jr., the father of her children Willie G. Moore Sr., sisters Dorothy Pouncy and Mae Brooks, brothers Thomas Brooks and George Brooks Jr., nephew Lenzy Pouncy, grandchildren Amanda and Jade Moore.

Willie Mae is survived by her children Willie G. (Julie) Moore Jr., Rhunette E. Moore Cook, and Bruce E. Moore, “grandchildren” Lenzy Moore, Jada Moore, Neesheka Gray, Donoral White, Shavonne Cook, Emon Cook,  Sierra Cook, Natalie Cook,  Michael Moore Jr., Marchel Moore, Tyler Moore, Jason Moore, Tyshaun Bauers, Daniel Poldoski ,Casey Socholotuk, Nailah Moore, Milik Moore, Selena Moore, Tabitha Bodin, Zach Bodin; and many great-grandchildren, and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 12, 2019 from 10AM until the 11AM Funeral Service in Dougherty Funeral Home 600 E. 2nd Street, Duluth, MN 55805.  Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
