Yvonne Williams

Yvonne Phyllis Williams, 89, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021.  Vonnie was born July 28, 1932 to Art and Hazel Stensrud in New Richland, MN.  She was previously employed at Veterans Administration Hospital in Minneapolis and retired from Miller Dwan Hospital in Duluth.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and most recently her great-grandchild.  She was gregarious, outgoing and enjoyed being around people. Volunteering in various capacities while her kids were growing up fit that bill: Endion library, Lower Chester Hockey, and Central Little League baseball concessions to name a few.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 50+ years, Burnie.  Vonnie is survived by two children: Brian (Marie) Williams of White Bear Lake, MN and Shelli (Wayne) Johnson of Hermantown;  four grandchildren: Brianna, Rachel (Gage), Madalyn and Noah; and one great grandchild, Harlow; as well as nieces Mona Stroman (Bill), Sue Bosquez (Tony), Becky Brainard and nephew Tom Olson (Maria).
